Our thoughts after Carnival ...

The group of women who actively participated in creating the center pieces for Carnival Charlotte are expressing the desire to continue regular sessions filled with activities like knitting, stitching and sewing.

It brought us together, we learned from each other, enjoyed listening to real life stories...

I am asking all of you to tell what you learned from our meetings by giving your thoughts in no more than two sentences.

On another very personal note I would like to share with  you that my brother suffers from Alzheimer's; my sister in law sent me a TED talk, where the presenter explains how working with your hands helps Alzheimer's patients to be active when nothing else seems to work anymore...

Click here to listen how manual activities can make Alzheimer's less tragic for a patient.

Another good reason for getting together!

I am also  happy to report that our pieces are finding new owners through eBay and Etsy!
